AWARDS!!!

I know it has been quite a while since I've posted, but I wanted to take a little break from my daily chaos that is now my life since school has started, and post my blog awards that I've received over the past few weeks...

The first one I received was

The rules for this award are to list 7 things about yourself and pass the award along to 7 other blogs, so here we go!

1) My closet is the neatest room in my entire house. I have everything organized from sleeveless to long-sleeves, IN COLOR ORDER! If something is out of place, it will drive me nuts until it's put back in order.

2) My skin has a reaction to gold over 14K... You can literally draw on me with a piece of gold and will leave a black mark -- it looks like someone attacked me with a giant marker! I'M SERIOUS!! My lil sis used to think that it was hilarious and play games of tic-tac-toe on my arm.

3) I am now officially a graduate student on on my way to becoming a teacher!! YAY!

4) I love thunderstorms. I used to stand in my parents' driveway, looking out to a cornfield and try to take pictures of lightning -- we would get some dandy storms in Kentucky!

5) As a youngster, I was obsessed with Ancient Egypt. I was probably in 5th or 6th grad when it started. I would read any book about it and watch any movie about it. I even had an entire kit from the Discovery store, complete with blocks to build your own pyramid and some balsa wood to carve a hieroglyphic message!

6) My right eye has started to twitch when I get really stressed-out, and it stresses me even more!! Is this all just part of getting older??? Because IT SUCKS!!!

AND LASTLY...

7) I am a very good student. I graduated from high school #7 in my class and for my undergraduate degree, I graduated Magne Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.8. Here's hoping I can keep up the good work to earn my masters!!!

Back to School...

So today I took a half-day at work and went back to Coastal's campus to turn in my application and letters of recommendation. Now, the waiting begins. I did find out something weird though -- they make the schedules for you! Just like in high school, they pick which courses and sections you'll take at which times. So strange!! They say they do it that way though because the M.A.T. program is so regimented and time-sensitive.

The weather was really nice today though! A.B. and I went running at the track on campus, training for our 5K. Boy, am I gonna be sore tomorrow!!! I always kinda like that though -- let's me know I got something done!!

I also was very crafty this week! I made two initial frames, one for me, "K", and one for A.B., "D." I'll try to get some pictures up this next week.

I'm also excited to announce that Best Friend has decided to join to blog world!! And she was kind enough to let me design her header for her too!! Please be sure to check out her blog and say hello. Polka Dots, Pearls, and Pink... OH MY!
